COVID infected SPM students can take exam in April
Mar 02, 2022
SPM candidates who test positive for COVID-19 throughout the current examination period need not worry about missing the exam.
The Education Ministry says such students will be allowed to sit for their papers in the second session in April.
They will need to provide proof of their infection, namely a written declaration, confirmation from their school principal, or their MySejahtera notification.
This, as some 400,000 students are sitting for their SPM exam papers at nearly 3,000 centres nationwide.

No large-scale restriction amid Omicron wave
There is no need to reintroduce any large-scale movement restrictions amid the current COVID-19 Omicron wave.
The Defence Minister says it's partly because many Malaysians have now completed their vaccinations and received the booster shot.
However, he hopes more people, particularly senior citizens and those with comorbidities, will come forward to take the booster dose.
