PICKids: Free COVID vaccines from June 20-24

Free COVID-19 vaccines will soon be given out nationwide under the PICKids vaccination program.

Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali says the jabs will be given out for five days from the 20th until the 24th of June.

As such, he urged parents to take this opportunity to get their kids vaccinated.

Chicken prices expected to go up next month

The price of chicken is expected to rise next month.

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry expects chickens to be more expensive once the price is floated after the maximum retail price scheme ends on June 30th.

It says the Finance Ministry is planning to provide aid to the needy, which would be finalized by the end of this month.

It also reminded traders not to take advantage of the floating price, by hiking up the price of the bird arbitrarily.

Too many talks over GE15 will affect political stability

The Prime Minister says extensive discussions over when the 15th General Election should be held will affect the country’s political stability.

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says it will also affect the government’s focus in solving issues being faced by the rakyat, including the rising prices of goods.

However, he reiterated his assurance that GE15 will be held.
