PICKids reopen today until Friday

The COVID-19 PICKids program will open again from today until Friday to immunize children aged 5 to 11.
The Health Ministry says the vaccination drive is in conjunction with National Immunisation Week on June 16th.
Parents who wish to get their kids vaccinated can do so without an appointment at health clinics under the ministry.

Malaysia reports zero COVID-19 fatalities
Malaysia reported zero COVID-19 deaths yesterday, which is the first time since December 18th, 2020.
Meanwhile, daily infections dropped by some 430 cases, to 1,690.
There were also more than 2,000 recoveries.

Man needs 12 stitches allegedly due to social media posts
Police are tracking down two men for allegedly assaulting another man at a restaurant in Cheras.
Cops say the victim met with the suspects, after one of them had allegedly uploaded a photo of the victim’s late father on social media and insulted him.
The meeting turned heated, and the victim was assaulted with an iron pipe and a chair.
The victim suffered head injuries and needed 12 stitches.
