Batu Caves Road Closures for Thaipusam

Several roads around Batu Caves will be closed until February 8th, in conjunction with Thaipusam. 

As such police have advised road users in the area to use alternative routes and public transport to avoid traffic jams.

According to the cops, some 2 million people are expected to visit Batu Caves for Thaipusam.

Rapid Bus and DBKL have launched an intermediate bus service, following the Ampang LRT line disruption.

The bus operator says it's to provide alternative transport for affected passengers, especially between the Hang Tuah and Bandaraya LRT stations.
