Parole System Has Been A Success

The country’s parole and community service program for prisoners has been a success.
The Home Ministry says an average of only one out of every 800 prisoners involved in the program – or less than one percent - end up returning behind bars.
This compares to the over 18 percent of convicts who end up returning to a life of crime, when they do not follow the rehabilitation program.

The government wants our TVET graduates to earn higher salaries.
Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin says the focus is no longer on graduate employability…but ensuring that more of them earn premium salaries of four thousand ringgit and above.
He adds that currently, only around 10 percent of graduates from the Malaysian Technical University Network receive these premium wages.

More agencies apart from the Malaysian Aviation Commission and the Civil Aviation Authority, will soon be involved in the approval process for new airlines.
