70% Turnout for Kemaman Polls?
Dec 01, 2023
A 70% voter turnout is expected for tomorrow’s parliamentary by-election in Kemaman, Terengganu.
The Election Commission, however says this will depend on weather conditions amid the ongoing Northeast Monsoon.
Terengganu police say some 1,100 personnel will be on duty tomorrow for by-election, and they are prepared for any eventuality.
This, as MetMalaysia issued an orange-level continuous rain alert for the whole of Terengganu, and parts of Kelantan and Pahang until Sunday.
