Beware of eMadani Scammers

Beware of potential scammers offering cash-out or peer-to-peer transfers for the RM100 eMadani credit.
According to the Finance Ministry, says will not be responsible for any credit lost due to such scams.
It also pointed out the credit is intended exclusively for physical purchases via participating e-wallets or QR code at authorised retailers and businesses.
It adds that it will react to any cases of peer-to-peer transfers or cash-outs by blocking the accounts of those involved and forfeiting the e-credit.

Separately, the Malaysian Bar has applied for a judicial review over Zahid's discharge not amounting to an acquittal in his Yayasan Akalbudi case back in September.
The Bar wants the High Court to overturn the decision, and declare that the then-Attorney General had exceeded his jurisdiction when applying for the conditional discharge.
