Malaysians Encouraged To Mask Up Again

Malaysians are encouraged to resume Covid-19 preventive measures such as masking up in public spaces.
The Health Ministry says we need a greater sense of urgency and caution, after the number of infections almost doubled to over 12 thousand last week.
There’s also been a slight increase in Covid-related hospitalisations…while cases are expected to rise further over the school holidays and year-end festive season.

The JPJ has cleared the confusion over its digital road tax saying it is not necessary for motorists to print out a physical version of the document.
Its deputy director for operations says you can get by with the digital version whenever you’re stopped by the authorities, as long as the road tax is still valid.

The Malaysia Gender Gap Index saw a slight improvement last year compared to 2021.
