PM: Tough To Probe High Profile People

The PM admits it's difficult to investigate high-profile individuals who are accused of stealing taxpayers' money.  

However, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says it needs to be done, for the benefit of ordinary people... 

He said this, amid the MACC's recent probes involving a number of individuals including a former Cabinet minister.

Tan Sri Devaki Krishnan, the first woman to hold public office in Malaysia has passed away at the age of 100.  

She started her political career in the 1950s, after winning a seat in KL's municipal elections in 1952, and was also the longest-serving member of MIC.

11 people will soon be taken to court for their alleged involvement in Sabah's largest drug syndicate.  

Bukit Aman says they include the supposed mastermind, who is a Datuk.

Separately, Police in Johor have remanded three people, to help their investigation into the disappearance of a single mother known as Bella.  

This is after a woman's skeletal remains were recently found at an abandoned house in Batu Pahat recently.
