No Record Of Terrorist Activities By NGO Leaders

The three Malaysian Islamic NGO leaders who are on the FBI’s terror watchlist, do not have any record of terrorist-related activities.
The Home Minister says this is based on checks with PDRM’s security records, adding that identity checks were also conducted on the individuals before they participated in humanitarian operations.
The Ministry adds that its still trying to get a clearer picture on why the three ended up on the FBI’s watchlist.

Malaysia is set to adopt several new methods to better handle disaster management.
This includes using big data and artificial intelligence technology to address issues like flooding.
DPM Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi – who is on a working visit to Japan – says these methods, which are already practiced by the Japanese, can help us with things like proper irrigation, drainage and flood control.
