Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud Laid To Rest

Former Sarawak governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud has been safely laid to rest.
He was buried at the family cemetery of his residence in Demak Jaya, Kuching, after Zohor prayers earlier today.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including the Sultan of Brunei, as well as current Sarawak Governor Tun Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
Tun Abdul Taib passed away at a hospital in KL yesterday morning at the age of 87.

Disgruntled staff should lodge proper reports with the authorities first, before taking any complaints about their bosses to social media.
The HR Minister says without proper reports, the relevant authorities cannot investigate or take the necessary action.
He said this after a viral social media post accused a ramen chain of handing out fines to workers for various reasons, including misconduct and taking sick leave.
The alleged fines, between RM30 and RM500, led to a huge public outcry and calls for authorities to act.
