Expect Another Month Of Hot Weather

The current hot weather is expected to last until at least the middle of next month.
Met Malaysia says this is because of a lack of rainclouds…and the spring equinox – when the sun is directly overhead on the equatorial line.
The department says during this period, temperatures could hit between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius, depending on cloud cover.

Malaysia’s aggregate household debt stood at over 1.5 trillion ringgit as at the end of last year.
The Prime Minister says this is a steady increase since 2018.
He adds that the bulk of last year’s debt was made up of housing loans…accounting for 60 percent of the overall figure.
This was followed by vehicle loans and personal financing.
