KLIA Runaway Shooter Arrested!

The runaway man behind the shooting at KLIA yesterday has been found.  

The IGP says police arrested the suspect in Kelantan today.  

Yesterday, authorities triggered a nationwide manhunt for the 38-year-old after he opened fire at the Terminal 1 arrival hall.  

Cops say he was targeting his wife over a personal dispute, but missed and shot her bodyguard instead.  

The bodyguard remains injured at the hospital.

Our medical field has a serious brain drain problem. 

The Malaysian Medical Association says many nurses are leaving their jobs at the Health Ministry to work in neighboring countries. 

According to Utusan Malaysia, this includes Singapore, Australia, and West Asia. 

The association says these nurses are pursuing higher pay, better incentives, and less pressure.

As such, the association is urging the government to focus on the welfare of all health workers.

Over three thousand schools nationwide have less than 150 students.  

However, the Education Ministry assured that no schools will be closed, despite the dire situation.  

The ministry adds that it'll focus on upgrading these schools, and that they will still receive the allocation set aside to improve facilities.
