Several Killed In Twin Navy Chopper Crash

Two navy helicopters have crashed, after colliding with each other at the TLDM base in Lumut this morning.
The incident is believed to have occured during a training exercise for the upcoming Naval Fleet Open Day.
According to reports, at least seven people have died.

The Education Ministry has issued a reminder for students to drink plenty of water due to the hot weather.
It adds that schools have also already been briefed about the guidelines for student activities during heatwaves.
This, as Pasir Mas in Kelantan was placed under a level two heatwave alert…with expected temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius.
14 other areas in Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Sabah and Sarawak were also under the less severe level one alert.

The proposal to establish a Health Service Commission will be referred to the Cabinet soon.
The Health Minister says his ministry is currently in the final stages of research, regarding the commission’s establishment.
The Health Service Commission is aimed at reforming the health sector…including by improving management and training…and by addressing issues concerning contract doctors.
