Govt Monitoring Covid Spike In Singapore

The Health Ministry is closely monitoring the Covid-19 wave in Singapore, after the number of cases doubled there.
The Ministry adds that Malaysia is unaffected by the republic's new spike so far, and that we've only recorded two cases of Singapore's dominant variants since March.
This, as Malaysia saw a nearly 15 percent increase in cases to 1,230 infections for the week ending May 18th.
