Add Capacity, Competition To Address Rising Airfare

The government will not introduce subsidies for international flights, like what it's been doing with domestic trips during the festive season.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke says the airlines themselves have to address the issue of pricing by adding flights and increasing competition.
He said this in response to concerns about high international airfares…after travel picked up post-pandemic.
