The Education Ministry has assured that the issue of thousands of teachers retiring early won't affect the country's education system.  

Minister Fadhlina Sidek says 98% of the vacancies nationwide have already been filled. 

She adds that those who do retire early do so based on factors such as health issues, lack of interest, and family matters.

The government will begin accepting applications for refunds from recipients of the Subsidized Diesel Control System on July 1st. 

The Finance Ministry says eligible applicants can apply for the refund through the Budi Madani portal. 

It adds that this is part of the government's efforts to help logistics businesses, so they don't increase the prices of essential goods.

The government is one step closer to improving the nation's cybersecurity. 

Federal Territories minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa says the new Cyber Security Bill is scheduled to be gazetted in the third quarter of this year.

She explained that the draft just needs to be given the green light by the Attorney General's Chamber.

The bill will help implement new cybersecurity processes and manage potential threats

The Election Commission has fixed August 17th for the Nenggiri byelection.

Meanwhile, August 3rd has been set as nomination day. 

Earlier this month, the Kelantan state assembly declared the seat vacant after terminating its incumbent's membership for declaring his support for the Prime Minister.
