Tik Tok says it's working on new anti-cyberbullying technology in Malaysia.

The platform adds that although it's already met all regulatory and legal requirements, it's taking extra measures to better protect users.

It told FMT that this also includes enhancing community guidelines.

This comes after a social media influencer was found dead after lodging a police report about being cyberbullied by two individuals on the app.

The two suspects have already been charged in court.

The final report of the Elmina plane crash will be released by August 16th.

The Transport Ministry says says the draft has already been completed and is being checked on by the relevant parties including the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia…and America’s National Transportation Safety Board.

De Facto Law Minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman has dismissed claims suggesting that there were more than a million phone scam cases reported last year.

She clarified that the National Scam Response Centre only received just over 95 thousand calls from its inception in 2022.
