Malaysia needs to remain vigilant in national security matters, despite being ranked the 10th safest country in the world by the recent Global Peace Index.

The DPM explained that the world's constantly changing security landscape requires us to always be on our toes.

Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi adds that the country needs to be cautious of both internal and external threats, including terrorism and extremist propaganda on social media.

The number of flood victims has risen.

According to the National Disaster Management Agency, over 300 victims are seeking shelter at evacuation centers in Alor Gajah, Melaka.

While nearly 70 others have been displaced in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

Separately in Penang, the water levels in two dams have declined to dangerous levels.

The National Water Services Commission says the water levels at five more dams in Kedah and Perlis are also at the warning level.

Kelantan police are investigating an incident where a 15-month-old toddler drowned after a motorcycle fell into an irrigation canal there.

Cops say they've already recorded the statement of the 12-year-old boy who rode the motorcycle, and that they will arrest the parents if there are signs of neglect.

The Inland Revenue Board has recorded 3.8 million e-invoice transactions through the MyInvois system, which was launched this month.

The Selangor State Health Department has assured that the Prime Minister has received a clean bill of health after a routine checkup.
