Stay Vigilant Against Phone and Parcel Scams

Malaysians were duped out of over 505 million ringgit from phone scam cases since 2021.
Of that number, 30 million was lost to perpetrators impersonating courier company staff.
Bukit Aman’s CCID director Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf explained that the figures are a clear indication that phone and parcel scams need to be taken more seriously.
He also reminded that courier companies will never ask customers for payment to release parcels.
