Cops Dismiss Scam Victims' Hypnosis Theory

The police have dismissed claims by some scam victims, that they were hypnotized into revealing their personal and banking details.
Bukit Aman’s Cyber Crime and Multimedia unit says these people have actually been emotionally and mentally manipulated by the scammers...who are experts at psychological mind games.
It explained that anyone who starts getting confused or has trouble making sense of things when they receive a call, should end the call immediately to avoid falling victim.
