The targeted toll exemption for festive seasons is currently under review by the government.

The PM says authorities are working out the best mechanism to carry this out, adding that what’s important is ensuring that only the B40 and M40 groups get to enjoy free tolls.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also reiterated that the government cannot continue subsidizing things like tolls, fuel and electricity for those who are wealthy and can afford to pay full prices.
