Celebrate CNY With 50% Toll Discount!

There will be a 50 percent toll discount along highways in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
The Works Ministry says this will be applicable for private vehicles next Monday and Tuesday.
The discount will cost the government nearly 21 million ringgit in compensation to the concessionaires.
This comes after a Cabinet meeting on the matter today, following the earlier announcement that there will be no more free tolls starting this year.

The Immigration Department will keep 20 selected passport offices nationwide open on Saturdays and Sundays, to address congestion at counters.
The Home Ministry is advising those who wish to apply for passports on weekends to head directly to the counter, while those planning to apply on weekdays are advised to do so online.

The Met Department has issued a yellow-level continuous rain alert for eleven divisions in Sarawak from this coming Monday until Thursday.
