The Transport Minister has ordered for safety measures to be improved at all train stations, especially for persons with disabilities.

This includes installing more CCTV cameras that are capable of detecting risky behaviour.

This comes after a disabled man was killed, when he fell onto the tracks at the Titiwangsa LRT station yesterday.

The Minister adds that the relevant parties, including Prasarana, are working closely to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.

Ayer Kuning assemblyman Ishsam Shahruddin has passed away at the age of 58, after collapsing due to a heart attack following a football match yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, the Perak state speaker says a notice to confirm the vacancy of the Ayer Kuning seat is expected to be submitted to the Election Commission on Tuesday.

The Immigration Department has denied social media claims of abuse at one of its detention depots in Selangor, saying internal checks have found no record of the alleged incident.

It also assured that all detainees are managed in accordance with the set SOP’s.
