FT Ministry Mulls KL Congestion Charge

The Federal Territories Ministry says authorities are looking into imposing a congestion charge to help ease the notorious rush hour traffic in the KL city center.
It says this is one of the strategies being considered under the KL Traffic Master Plan 2040…besides improving the public transport system.
It adds that this is an issue that needs to be resolved urgently, since traffic congestion costs the economy about 20 billion ringgit a year.
