Gene Hackman Dies

Hollywood legend Gene Hackman has died at the age of 95.
His body, and that of his 63-year-old wife and pet dog were found at their home in the US state of New Mexico.
Local law enforcement officials did not confirm a cause of death, but add that they do not suspect any foul play.
Hackman famously played the villainous Lex Luthor in the 1978 Superman movie.
He also won Oscars for his roles in The French Connection and Unforgiven.

The introduction of a congestion charge could potentially reduce KL's traffic congestion by up to 20%.
The Federal Territories Ministry says this is based on studies on other cities that adopted similar policies, like London, Singapore and New York...
However, Dr Zaliha Musapha pointed out that a congestion charge will only be implemented once the city has an efficient and integrated public transport system.

The JPJ has the legal authority to block drivers from renewing their driving license and road tax over unpaid summonses.
The Transport Ministry told the Dewan Rakyat, this is based on provisions under the Road Transport Act and Commercial Vehicles Licensing Act.
It also cited a Court of Appeal decision from 2012, which ruled that such actions are lawful.

Kelantan police are investigating the parents of a 19-month-old boy to determine if there were any elements of negligence in his death.
The boy was reported missing from his home on Monday, before his remains were found by a river yesterday.
