LRT Platform Sensors Could Be Installed This Year
Apr 23, 2025

A study on the proposed use of platform sensors at LRT stations is expected to be completed within the next three months.
Prasarana says if everything goes well, such sensors could be installed later this year.
Such sensors aim to alert the authorities if anyone tries to enter the restricted safety zone.
This, after a man died at the Titiwangsa LRT station in February, after he fell onto the tracks and was struck by a train.

The teenager who allegedly produced and sold explicit deepfake images of his schoolmates has been hit with two charges at a court in Johor.
The 16-year-old pleaded NOT guilty to the first count of producing pornography featuring a minor.
Because of his age, he could face a warning, a good behaviour bond, a fine, or community service, and may also be ordered to attend the Henry Gurney School.
However, he pleaded guilty to the other charge, of possessing pornographic materials on his phone.
