Weather Hampers Putra Heights Probe

Authorities are facing difficult conditions investigating the Putra Heights gas pipeline fire.
The Selangor police chief says teams have already dug up several pipes at ground zero, despite bad weather.
However, daily rain has been hampering their efforts to retrieve samples.

This, as media practitioners will be taken to the location of the explosion next week, to let them see firsthand the work that’s being carried out by the relevant authorities.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry says 18 victims of the blaze are still currently being treated for their injuries, although none are in critical condition.

The National Unity Minister is demanding strict action to be taken, after a teacher lodged a police report claiming that she received a racist message from a food delivery rider.
The Minister also reminded all Malaysians to continue harboring mutual respect for one another, adding that there is no place for any form of discrimination in the country.
