Cops: Pamela Ling Is Probably Still Alive

Police believe that Datin Seri Pamela Ling is probably still alive, following her reported abduction last month.  

Cops add that based on police investigations, 5 vehicles and 8 suspects were involved. 

The KL police chief adds that so far, 16 people have had their statements recorded, and has not ruled out calling in more people for questioning.  

This includes Ling’s children who are based in Singapore.  

He also says that for now police are NOT ruling out anything, including the possibility that the abduction may have been staged.  

However, Ling’s lawyer has disputed this.  

The 42-year-old went missing after her e-hailing ride was stopped by individuals posing as policemen, while she was on her way to the MACC’s headquarters to assist in an investigation.

Authorities have detained a lorry driver over yesterday’s 6-vehicle accident along the Guthrie Corridor Expressway. 

The accident reportedly left a a woman and her four-year-old daughter with serious injuries.  

Meanwhile, just over 1,800 road accidents were reported nationwide yesterday, while 11 people died in fatal crashes.

A 50-year-old man has been remanded for four days, over the death of his wife along the Kesas Highway earlier this week. 

Based on initial investigations, the woman is believed to have jumped out of the moving vehicle during a heated argument with the suspect.
