No Foul Play In LRT Death

Jun 06, 2025

no foul play in lrt death

Cops have not found any criminal elements in the death of the man who fell off an LRT platform in Pusat Bandar Puchong earlier this week.

Selangor police say based on the evidence it appears that the victim fell onto the track due to his own behavior.

The case is still being treated as sudden death.

Earlier reports said the 63-year-old Taiwanese national was travelling alone when he fell onto the LRT tracks and was struck by a train.

LHDN will enforce the mandatory stamp duty for all employment contracts starting January 1st next year.

It says this is in line with the phased implementation of the Stamp Duty Self-Assessment System as outlined in Budget 2025.

LHDN adds that job contracts signed before this year are exempt from the rule.

As for contracts signed from this year, there will be NO penalty for late stamping provided they are stamped before year-end.

This, after audits revealed that a lot of companies don't comply with the stamping rule, which has been in place for over 70 years.
