The govt wants ticket prices for domestic flights to return to levels seen BEFORE the Movement Control Order.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakobs says the high prices recently were due to social distancing requirements.
But now that the requirement has been removed, there’s no excuse for ticket prices to stay high.
He adds that the relevant authorities will soon meet with airlines, to discuss giving discounts
on flights for students and teachers, as schools will reopen later this month.
