IGP: Gangsters will be arrested under SOSMA

Anyone who claims to be a gangster will be arrested and action will be taken under the Security Offences Special Measures Act, SOSMA.
IGP Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador told Bernama PDRM is currently on a mission to clean up the culture of gangsterism in the country, including at the school level.
He adds that there are high school students in Form 1 and Form 2 who already have an inclination to associate themselves with gangsterism groups, to the point they can threaten people for money.
PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is expected to return uncontested as Bersatu president, following the sacking of his opponent Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
The party's election committee confirmed that the Pagoh MP is now the sole candidate for the post.
Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu is being nominated for deputy president.
Eligible Malaysians will receive RM50 eWallet credit starting this month, as part of the ePenjana initiative that was announced by the Prime Minister.
The Finance Minister says more details on this initiative will be announced soon.
The eWallet initiative is only applicable to Malaysians aged 18 years old and above, and with an annual income of less than 100,000 per year.
