BSH phase 3 payments to be made starting Friday

Phase 3 of the Cost of Living Aid payments will be made from this Friday, involving an allocation of 3 billion ringgit.

Payment will be credited directly to the recipients’ bank accounts registered with the Inland Revenue Board.

For those without a bank account, cash payment can be obtained at BSN branches until the end of the year.

YouTube star Sugu Pavithra has been named an Ipoh City Icon, the same title that was given to actress Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh.

The Ipoh Mayor says Pavithra was chosen as her hometown was in Buntong and her success should be an example to others.

Two coronavirus vaccine candidates have proven safe for humans and produced strong immune reactions among patients involved in separate clinical trials.

The first trial among more than 1,000 adults in Britain found that the vaccine induced strong antibodies and cells that can fight the virus.

A separate trial in China involving more than 500 people showed most had developed widespread antibody immune response.
