Kuching now a COVID-19 red zone

Kuching, Sarawak has been categorised as a COVID-19 red zone.
The Health Ministry said this, after a total of 41 cases were detected there.
Meanwhile, Kuching's Sentosa Hospital, has been closed to the public and all its employees have been placed under quarantine.
This, as Malaysia recorded 23 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, while the number of ACTIVE cases is now at 167.

Starting tomorrow, authorities will clamp down on some 2,800 people who returned from overseas, for failing to undergo their 2nd COVID-19 tests, as per the requirements of their home quarantine.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says they will be arrested and charged in court.
Currently, 9,600 individuals are still under mandatory home quarantine.

The government has agreed to tighten SOP that were previously eased during Recovery MCO.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaacob says a technical committee will fine-tune the details today, and will present it at a ministerial meeting tomorrow.
This, amid concerns over a rise in Covid-19 cases in the past week.
MW, Ismail says 330 people were arrested on Friday for flouting various regulations under the RMCO.
