Jul 27, 2020

The government has announced several SOPs for Hari Raya Aidiladha.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says for those wishing to visit relatives this festive season, only 20 visitors are allowed in a home at one time.

He also stressed that those undergoing home quarantine are NOT allowed to take part in celebrations, meaning they can't meet visitors, nor can they go out for Aidiladha prayers.

New SOPs are also in place for korban activites.

This includes capping the number of animals to be slaughtered during korban activties, to only 10, but this depends on the size of the venue.

Namely Zone 1, which comprises of COVID-19 yellow and red zones, while Zone 2 are free from the coronavirus.

Those who wish to travel between the two zones must first get police permission.
