PDRM recommends a second inquest over Adib's death
Aug 05, 2020
PDRM has mooted a second inquest into the death of fireman Muhammad Adib, who succumbed to injuries following a riot in at a temple in Subang Jaya two years ago.
The Home Ministry says the proposal was made in an investigation paper which was handed to the Attorney-General’s Chambers last month.
The police force also recommended unlawful assembly charges against 12 suspects.
Police will seek professional help to identify the suspects recorded when vandalising a mural featuring several national leaders in Shah Alam.
They say the poor quality of the CCTV footage has made it difficult for them to identify the suspects involved in the case.

At least 70 people have died, while 3,700 others were injured in a large explosion in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Officials are blaming highly explosive materials stored in a warehouse that have been left unchecked for 6 years.
They have also declared Beirut a disaster-stricken city and recommended the cabinet declare a state of emergency for 2 weeks.
