Authorities decide on Slim by-election SOPs

Authorities have decided on the COVID-19 SOPs for the upcoming Slim by-election in Perak.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says they will be similar to the those for the Chini by-election, with a few changes.

This includes only allowing campaign rallies to take place indoors or at enclosed spaces.

He adds that the amount of attendees will be capped at 250.

Ceiling price for face masks to drop lower

The ceiling price for three-ply face masks is set to be lowered again.

Previously, the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister announced that masks will go down to RM1.20 each, from RM1.50.

Today in Parliament, Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi says it will now go even lower.

However, he did not mention the new price, and when it will come into effect.
