Lim Guan Eng to be charged today over Penang Undersea Tunnel project

Former Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng is expected to be charged in court shortly over the Penang Undersea tunnel project.
This, after the MACC confirmed the Bagan MP's arrest last night.
It follows a months-long investigation into allegations of graft in the controversial 6.3 billion ringgit project.
Reports say Guan Eng will face one corruption charge today, and two charges of abuse of power in Penang on Monday.
Super-strain of Covid-19 in Kedah?
There is a possibility that the Sivagangga cluster in Kedah is from a super-spreader strain of Covid-19.
This, after the Health Director-General said the cluster had a faster rate of transmission than the other nine clusters nationwide.

Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, however, says authorities will have to conduct further tests to confirm this.
This came as the country reported 15 new Covid-19 infections yesterday - 10 of which were local transmissions.
Of the 10, six were linked to the Sivagangga cluster.
Documentary investigation papers sent to AG
The investigation papers on a controversial documentary on Malaysia by a foreign news agency...has been sent to the Attorney General's Chambers for further action.
Bukit Aman's CID director says the papers included the case of a Bangladeshi national who was interviewed in the documentary.
Hisham says sorry and agrees to pay fine
Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein has agreed to pay a fine, after he was caught smoking an e-cigarette inside the Dewan Rakyat earlier this week.

The Foreign Minister had earlier also apologised for his actions, insisting that no one is above the law.
