Malaysians to soon find out whether RMCO will end as scheduled

Malaysians will soon find out whether the Recovery MCO will end as scheduled next Monday. 

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the PM is expected to address the nation this week. 

Earlier, medical experts had called for the RMCO to be extended, because COVID-19 still poses a threat to the country. 

Price of three-ply face masks to go down again

The government is set to review the price of three-ply face masks next month.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi says it can go lower as there are now more manufacturers in the country. 

Currently, the ceiling price for face masks is set at RM1 each. 

5 more COVID-19 cases from Tawar Cluster

Malaysia reported 11 new COVID-19 cases today, raising the number of active infections to 189. 

Of the new cases, five are from the Tawar Cluster in Kedah. 

Meanwhile Health Director General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says they were all school students.

The death toll still stands at 125.
