Japan's longest-serving PM steps down
Japanese PM Shinzo Abe has announced his resignation due to health issues.
This, due to a recurrence of his condition, ulcerative colitis.
The resignation ends Abe’s run as Japan’s longest-serving Prime Minister.
The condition forced him to end his first term as PM in 2007 after just 1 year on the job.
He then returned to power in 2012.

Today's COVID-19 figures
Malaysia's number of active COVID-19 infections has gone down to 151.
This is after 10 new cases were reported today, while 36 patients fully recovered.
Only 2 of the new cases were local transmissions.
The death toll remains unchanged at 125.

Cops quiz minister again
Bukit Aman police spent three hours questioning the Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister over his breach in mandatory COVID-19 SOPs.
Cops recorded his statement and also questioned several other witnesses over the issue.
He is being investigated for failing to undergo the 2-week quarantine period after returning from Turkey,
