Bomba to continue with Covid-19 sanitisation operations

The Fire and Rescue Department will continue to carry out sanitisation work nationwide throughout the recovery MCO period, starting today.
Housing and Local Government Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Abd Muttalib says the focus will be on areas that have recorded Covid-19 cases.
He said as of Aug 30, a total of 9,792 public sanitation operations had been carried out involving 12,914 premises nationwide, which include business centres, government buildings, residential areas, public places and supermarkets.
A new Covid-19 cluster dubbed the Bunga cluster has been detected, involving crew members of a ship that docked in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.
The Health Ministry says the cluster carries no risk of community spread adding that the vessel previously travelled to Singapore.
This comes as we recorded 2 consecutive days of deaths from Covid-19, bringing the overall death toll to 127.
A 7-year-old boy in the UK with cerebral palsy, whose parents were told he would never walk, has climbed Britain's tallest mountain for charity.
The boy trekked 1,345m to the top of the mountain and raised more than 8,000 pounds.
