An elephant caused a stir when it entered a shop at the East-West Highway near Gerik in Perak in search of food.

According to Harian Metro, the elephant was merely trying to look for something to eat and didn't destroy any items in the shop nor did it behave violently.

The Wildlife Department confirmed that the elephant has been driven back into its habitat nearby.

A father, whose 11-year-old son was captured on a viral video driving a tanker lorry in Negeri Sembilan, has been remanded for 2 days.
