New COVID-19 cluster in Tongod, Sabah

57 new COVID-19 cases were reported today, including 51 local tranmissions.
49 of them were found in Sabah.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has detected a new cluster in Tongod, Sabah, called the Quarters Cluster.
The death toll is unchanged at 130.
Penang: Too early for EMCO
It is still too early for Penang to enforce an Enhanced MCO following the emergence of the new Ara cluster there.
Its Chief Minister says currently, only two COVID-19 cases are linked to the Ara cluster.
He adds that those who were in close contact with the patients have already undergone testing.
COVID-19 patients advised not to take part in Sabah polls
Early voting for the Sabah state election is set to go on tomorrow, involving almost 17,000 people.
As such the Election Commission has urged those involved to follow strict COVID-19 SOPs.
Meanwhile, coronavirus patients in Sabah, along with those being quarantined, have been advised not to take part in the state polls.
The EC says its to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
