DBKL to intensify monitoring at construction sites

DBKL will intensify monitoring and tighten regulations at construction sites in the capital to ensure public safety.

The KL mayor says planning permission for such works fall under the Malaysian Highway Authority's purview.

This following a recent viral incident that saw a concrete slab fall off an elevated highway project in KL onto a passing car, that left the victim with minor injuries.
