Viral claim alleging Selangor to be placed under MCO is fake

Selangor is not being placed under a Movement Control Order due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. 

The Health Ministry said this, to dismiss a recent viral post alleging the government will enforce an MCO in the state for over two weeks. 

Yesterday, the ministry detected two new clusters in the state, namely the Seri Setia Cluster in Gombak, and Hulu Selangor's Seri Anggerik Cluster.

Selangor to offer free COVID-19 testing to residents recently returned from Sabah

Selangor residents who have recently traveled to Sabah will be offered free COVID-19 testing starting tomorrow. 

The state Menteri Besar says they can get themselves tested by visiting clinics owned by the state government's subsidary. 

If you're planning to get tested, you will need to bring along your return flight documents from Sabah, as well as proof of residence in Selangor. 

US President Donald Trump has not transfered presidential power to VP Mike Pence

US government officials insist that Vice President Mike Pence has not been transfered the power of the presidency.

This, as President Donald Trump was moved to a military hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. 

Yesterday, Trump announced that he and the first lady both contracted the coronavirus, after coming into close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual.
