MOH expecting Covid-19 infections to spike further

The Health Ministry is expecting Covid-19 infections to spike further in the next one week and is taking several key measures to contain the spread.
This includes surveillance and active contract tracing.
Health authorities have started screening cases of influenza-like illness and severe acute respiratory infections as part of its surveillance.
Two students from a primary school in Bangsar, KL have tested positive for Covid-19, but the school has not announced any closure as yet.
According to Berita Harian, they were believed to have contracted the virus from relatives who attended a wedding recently.
The MACC has a list of local celebrities and business owners suspected of being involved with a money laundering syndicate.
It says those prominent persons were urged to voluntarily come forward to give their statements to assist investigations.
This is after 5 police officers were arrested over allegations they were involved with a money laundering syndicate.
