PM: Cabinet will discuss King's decision not to declare emergency

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has acknowledged the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong’s decision to not invoke a state of emergency.

He says his Cabinet will discuss the King’s decree adding that the government’s focus now is on protecting the people against Covid-19.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin also expressed gratitude to His Majesty for having confidence in his leadership.

Another 9 Covid-19 clusters have been detected in the country!

The Health Ministry says 4 of these clusters are in Sabah while one new cluster apiece emerged in Selangor, Penang, Sarawak, Johor and Negeri Sembilan.

So far, Malaysia has reported 225 clusters since the start of the pandemic with about 50% still being active.

Police say there are some workers abusing consent letters from their employers to run personal errands on weekends during the CMCO period.

They warned that their respective employers would be contacted immediately for follow-up action in such situations.
