Educational institutions in Selangor, KL, Putrajaya to remain closed

All educational institutions under the Education Ministry in Selangor, KL and Putrajaya will remain closed until November 9th.
This is in line with the government’s directive to extend the Conditional MCO for the three areas, which ends today, by 14 days.
3 new Covid-19 clusters have been detected in Sabah, Negeri Sembilan and Perak.
They are the Kapor cluster in Kudat, Sabah; Hampar cluster in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan; and Tapah Prison cluster in Batang Padang, Perak.
This comes as we once again breached the four-digit mark with a new record of 1,240 Covid-19 infections, with the number of active cases reaching the 10k mark.
UMNO’s Supreme Council has decided to keep its support for the Perikatan Nasional government, after close to four hours of discussion that ended past midnight.
UMNO president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi also reaffirmed its previous decision that it will not cooperate with PKR or DAP.
