Malaysia reports 799 new COVID-19 cases

Three more people in Sabah have passed away due to COVID-19, raising our death toll to 249.

Meanwhile, Malaysia reported 799 new cases today, all of which were local transmissions.

Sabah continues to record the highest number of infections with 466, followed by 150 in Selangor and Labuan 65.

The Health Ministry also detected eight new clusters nationwide.

Budget 2021 to focus on fight against COVID-19

The upcoming tabling of Budget 2021 will focus on efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says the government has spent almost RM2 billion on the Health Ministry, 20% alone was channelled to Sabah in the last few weeks.

Budget 2021 is scheduled to be tabled in Parliament next Friday.

CMCO at village in Baling, Kedah to end as scheduled

The Conditional MCO at Kampung Padang Che Mas in Baling, Kedah is set to be lifted tomorrow as scheduled.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says this is after the Health Ministry detected no new COVID-19 cases in the area.
