Malaysia reports over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases

Malaysia’s daily number of COVID-19 cases has reached four figures today.
1,054 new cases were reported, 14 of which were imported infections.
Sabah continues to record the highest tally with 678 infections, followed by 125 in Selangor.
Meanwhile 12 more people have succumbed to the coronavirus, raising the death toll to 263.

CMCO to be enforced in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
A Conditional MCO is set to be enforced in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, due to a spike in coronavirus infections.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the order will come into effect this Thursday until November 18th.
The CMCO will involve 9 sub districts including Ampangan, Labu, Seremban, and Rantau.

All Parliament staff test negative for COVID-19
All Parliament staff members have tested negative for COVID-19.
Only an officer to a Dewan Negara member and one media personnel were found to be infected with the coronavirus.
The parliament's Chief Administrator says the tests were conducted before the current parliamentary sittings.
Meanwhile, starting today until Thursday, Parliament sittings will end early at 1PM as a precaution against COVID-19.
